Gangavan is NIRMAN's long-term ecological restoration project on the floodplains of the Ganga in Varanasi. It combines native afforestation, regenerative agriculture, environmental education, and community participation to explore how damaged landscapes can become places of learning, biodiversity, and shared stewardship.
Gangavan provides a landscape where education, research, artistic practice and ecological restoration can meet. It is home to fieldwork, residencies, workshops, performances, environmental learning and quiet observation.
